Tender description

The University's Technology and Information Services Department is still evaluating the strategy for the Data Centre moving forwards, and consequently requires to renew the post warranty hardware and software support provision for the equipment to cover until Summer 2019 (although equipment may be decommissioned and removed from production service prior to that date). In order to ensure best value for the University it is now undertaking a benchmarking exercise to provide quotes for hardware break/fix maintenance and support. To achieve this, the request is being sent to all Lenovo (IBM) resellers that are on Lots 1 and 2 of the SSSNA Framework for LENOVO (IBM) servers and storage.
