Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (RBK) is undertaking a commissioning exercise to determine future delivery options for specialist dementia residential services. The current services comprise of a residential care home registered for 44 residents and a day centre within the care home with capacity for 30 sessions per day. The beds are currently operated as 42 permanent and 2 respite. The purpose of the soft market testing is to understand market intelligence around: — suitable split between Council funded and Self Funding clients, — contractual duration and terms, — mobilisation and Implementation. All answers provided will assist the Council in shaping and scoping requirements and will provide insight into the most suitable Commissioning route. It is anticipated that a tender will be released in February 2019, leading to a new service commencing on 1.10.2019.
