Tender description

Establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for grounds maintenance services, playground and landscaping contractors. Initial DPS Period will run for four (4) Years from 14.9.2018 to 13.9.2022 although the Council Reserves the right to extend or shorten the DPS validity period at its own discretion. A DPS is similar to a Framework, however new contractors are permitted to join the DPS at any time during the validity period of the DPS subject to meeting the Council’s pre-qualification criteria, which are available via the Council’s e-tendering portal-Proactis Plaza. Contractors should note that admission onto the DPS is not a guarantee of any award of contracts. There is also no guarantee of volume or value of contracts to be let via the DPS. Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of flail Mowing and associated work, including working on Highways). Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of all hard and soft landscaping maintenance and works (works with an estimated value between 25,000GBP and 75,000GBP). Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of all hard and soft Landscaping Maintenance and Works (works with an estimated value below 25,000GBP). It should be noted the Council reserves the right to include other services linked to the subject matter of this category. Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of Hard and Soft Landscaping Maintenance and Works (works with an estimated value above 75,000GBP). It should be noted the Council reserves the right to include other services linked to the subject matter of this category. Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of grounds maintenance including but not limited to Shrub / Floral Bed Maintenance including supply of plants, shrubs, trees and other horticultural products; Grass Cutting; Strimming; Watering (hanging baskets, tubs, troughs, flower beds etc.); Field Maintenance; Litter Picking Services; Clearance (gardens, hedgerows etc.). It should be noted the Council reserves the right to include other services linked to the subject matter of this Category. Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of tree work and hedge works, including but not limited to maintenance, cutting, pruning, felling, clearance, trimming etc. It should be noted the Council reserves the right to include other services linked to the subject matter of this category. Future mini-competitions and quotations under this category of the DPS will facilitate the Council’s requirements for all types of spraying services including but not limited to weed spraying of foot paths, pavements and highways weed control etc. Provision of system to record and monitor weed control provision.
