Engineering Design Services

Tender description

UKAEA are seeking to establish from the market place details of availability and expertise for support with engineering design that includes; Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, C & I, Piping, Civil Engineering, Process and building services and Robotics. All Mechanical CAD data shall be supplied in Catia V5 Electrical, C & I, piping, Building Services and Civil Engineering CAD shall be supplied in either AutoCAD or Solidworks. Versions of the software application(s) shall be agreed between the UKAEA Design Office and consultant prior to the commencement of services. All CAD data shall be subject to UKAEA requirements for Configuration Management, Data Exchange and CAD standards as listed within the Invitation to Tender. In addition Building Services and Civil Engineering must be compliant with the BIM (Building Information Management ) Standards. The service lots available to the Consultant for delivery to UKAEA under a Framework Agreement are described as follows; Lot 1 Mechanical Engineering Lot 2 Process Engineering Lot 3 Electrical, C&I Lot 4 Building Services and Civil Engineering Lot 5 Integrated Design Full details are provided within the Invitation to Tender document.
