Tender description

The Housing Service at Central Bedfordshire Council delivers landlord services to 5000 households in addition to statutory strategic housing services including homelessness and housing solutions. Good communication is a key facet of the relationship with our customers. Through our digitalisation programme we are continually improving our website content and using short videos and factsheets to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of housing services. Whilst we are clear that our staff should own their communication outputs, there are situations where professional writing services and guidance will add value. The service required will include three areas of activity: (1) Website content (2) Script development for short videos (3) Training / Knowledge share- face to face and guidance notes The service required here is threefold - to provide individual support to an officer with a complicated piece of correspondence/ report writing, to undertake face to face training for officers on the key elements of writing good correspondence / reports, with a level of follow on one to one support and to produce guidance notes to support the training activity. Completed Quotations and attachments should be submitted electronically by the due date via our In-tend electronic tendering system. Quotations must be uploaded via the "My Return" section of the system. Quotations submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Quotation must be submitted via the In-tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018 Quotations received after that time will be excluded. Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the quotation process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all tenderers, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure about or need clarification on, please use the Correspondence facility within the In-tend electronic tendering system.
