Tender description
The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) is exploring options for the development and deployment of an staff benefit portal, it would be via either a managed service provider or just a portal provider. The aim of the staff benefit portal is to amalgamate the benefit schemes currently available to employees so that they are all accessible in one place on one flexible platform. We are holding a supplier day on 20th/21st December to meet potential portal and/or managed service providers to clarify requirements in Nantgarw, Cardiff. Please contact Diane Bird through E-mail Diane.Bird2@wales.nhs.uk 01443 848603. Venue and agenda to be confirmed closer to the date to registered parties. The portal will need to be cost free and fully customisable, incorporating the current popular schemes: — cycle to work, — salary sacrifice cars, — home electronics, — child care vouchers, — local and National NHS staff discounts and has to be adaptable to add any future schemes or available discounts. A unique flexible staff benefit portal/hub promoting all of the benefit schemes available to staff. Alongside this a health and wellbeing section will be available to employees supporting their physical, financial and mental health. The aim of the staff benefit portal is to amalgamate the benefit schemes currently available to employees so that they are all accessible in one place on one flexible platform. The portal will need to be cost free and fully customisable, incorporating the current popular schemes: — cycle to work, — salary sacrifice cars, — home electronics, — child care vouchers, — local and National NHS staff discounts and has to be adaptable to add any future schemes or available discounts. Importantly the portal must be able to provide multiple suppliers per benefit in order to provide the employee with an element of choice and fair comparison and to encourage low-cost, healthy, economical rivalry between the suppliers. The portal must bring together all of the staff benefits and discounts available to employees in one easy to use hub, creating a unique but flexible “one-stop-shop” approach. The portal must be easy for the employee to navigate and understand, allow the employer to easily adapt the content as and when necessary and also be customisable to accept bi-lingual requests. Ideally the structure of the portal will remain the same across NHS Wales with each individual organisation able to adapt the staff discount section with locally sourced discounts and promotions. Enabling transferring employees to already be familiar with the characteristics of the portal. The portal will be delivered through a “One-Stop-Shop” approach enabling the employee to obtain all of the required information in one secure and informative location. Single log-in would also be advantageous if this was an option. The portal must be cost free to set up with no unexpected management or ongoing fees.
