Tender description

A consultant is required to perform non-staff, specialised project-orientated assignments in connection with clear and quantifiable deliverables which shall be listed in the contract and linked to payment. The consultant will therefore be engaged to provide an external professional service and expertise for the Policy Unit. It is envisaged that the consultant’s responsibilities will cover the following areas: • Providing professional expert technical services to the Policy Unit in relation to policy work in thematic areas relevant to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), with a particular emphasis on technical issues relating to the areas outlined in section 1 above. • Providing specific expert technical services as required for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) engagement in Key Partner Countries in the areas outlined in section 1 above. • Attending relevant fora in relation to the above areas, as required. • Providing external expert analysis and briefings as required.
