Summary of the work External resource is required to develop and deliver key components of the ISMS across other areas including, risk assessment methodology, risk assessments, risk treatment plans and a Statement of Applicability. Specialist role Cyber security consultant Expected Contract Length 6 months Latest start date Monday 3 December 2018 Maximum Day Rate £600.00 per day is the maximum rate. Who Speclialist Work With The Specialist will report to the Chief Information Security Officer working under the Engineering & Technology Directorate. What Specialists Work On External resource is required to develop and deliver key components of the ISMS across other areas including, Risk assessment methodology, risk assessments, risk treatment plans and a Statement of Applicability. Skills & Experience • Provide Evidence of Significant experience 5 years and deep expertise accross Security expertise of Security Disciplines, Leadership and goverance, risk assessment, risk management, ISO/IEC27001. • Provide 3 years experience in providing Security documentation. Work Location Hanslope Park, Hanslope, Milton Keynes, Bucks Working Arrangments 5 days per week on site, full working days and no Expenses to be included. Security Clearance SC clearance essential and DV clearance preferred. Does this replace the previous requirement published SG00135?. Yes that is correct, due to the maximum day rate being increased we have reissued our requirement. 2. Can you confirm if this role is to be inside IR35 or outside IR35? This role is outside of IR35. 3. Can the authority please confirm that this is an update to the previous requirement SG00136 and therefore their is no incumbent and the role is outside of IR35 Yes I can confirm this replaces the previous requirement issued, due to the maximum day rate being increased we have reissued. There is no incumbent and this role is outside of IR35. 4. Is this a duplication of the existing role with the increased day rate? Will individuals submitted against the existing role still be considered Yes this is the same requirement as previously issued but due to a substantial increase in the rate we have reissued. The original requirement has been closed so please issue responses on this requirement. 5. Is this role outside IR35? Yes this role is outside of IR35. 6. Will you consider any candidates who don't have SC clearance and process the SC clearance? We cannot consider anyone who does not have SC clearance due to time scales. 7. Is this role considered to be outside of IR35 or will working practices be allowed that will enable the role to fall outside of IR35 This role is outside of IR35. 8. An answer provided against the previous requirement, SG00136, stated that there may be some scope for working off-site. Is this still the case or is the requirement for 5 full days on-site? Yes it still applies there maybe the possibility to work off site, this would need to be discussed further with the Line Manager.
