Tender description

The Council operates 3 Household Recycling Centres within its Council area, providing reuse, recycling and disposal services for a range of waste materials. The contract waste will comprise of mixed paints and aerosols which are segregated on-site. In addition to providing a collection, recycling and recovery service, the contractor will be required to provide suitable containers for the collection of the contract waste at each of the sites. Currently 1100 litre wheeled bins are used for the collection of paints and 240 litre wheeled bins used for the collection of aerosols. However container types and sizes may vary in accordance with the needs and requirements of the Council. The contractor will also be required to provide waste data on collected tonnes and end destinations for all collected waste. This Contract is for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Paints and Aerosols from Council Household Recycling Centres.
