Tender description

This opportunity relates to the requirement for an injectable chemotherapy (and other high tech medicines) homecare service that meets the definition of homecare as defined by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. The aim of the Homecare service is to work in collaboration with the NHS to enable patients to receive the administration of medicines in their own homes or at a nominated address of their choice. This tailored, patient-focused and unobtrusive service is designed to improve the quality of life of both patients and carers. The Contractor will provide a homecare service for the purchasing, compounding, dispensing, delivery and administration of injectable chemotherapy and other high tech medicines (including associated nursing services such as phlebotomy) for patients of Trusts in the Thames Valley and Wessex region and other regions within the Commercial Alliance and NHS London.
