Tender description

Plasma for import to NHSBT for the treatment of patients born on or after 1.1.1996 must be proven to be sourced from a country with lower incidence of vCJD than the UK. This is for an extension of the existing contract NHSBT0443 and has been put in place whilst the replacement tender exercise NHSBT0908 is implemented. NHSBT has successfully undertaken the procurement process for the supply of Non-UK Plasma NHSBT0908. The extension is between 30.11.2018 until 31.8.2019 to cover the implementation of this and to stock build ahead of Brexit.
