Tender description

The Commissioners wish to undertake early engagement with potential providers and subcontractors and the market in general who share our passion and commitment and who are dedicated to providing the very best choice, service and patient care standards, for a Community based MSK Service. In particular the commissioners would like to discuss their plans with the market to understand capacity and the ability of Providers to deliver this service. The proposed service will look to provide early assessment, diagnosis and treatment of MSK conditions; it will treat patients quickly and effectively before their condition becomes chronic and more complex to treat. In partnership with the patient, treatment goals and a plan of intervention will be agreed, in accordance with the diagnosis and prognosis of the condition. The service will educate and support patients and their carers with their conditions and offer advice on management of daily activities, preventative measures, equipment and health promotion to improve patient experience. The final full-service specification will be published as part of a future procurement process early in 2019.
