Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England (the Commissioner) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver HPV primary screening and related cervical screening services as part of the NHS Cervical Cancer Screening Programme (NHSCSP). The requirement is split into 9 Lots. Organisations wishing to submit a bid will need to register on the Arden GEM Bravo solutions website and complete the ITT documentation at the following location: https://ardengemcsu.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html The ITT documentation should be completed by the closing date of 15:00 hrs on 9.1.2019. The main ITT reference is itt_1139. It is anticipated the ITT documentation will be available w/c 26th November 2018 but may be published sooner and potential bidders are advised to monitor the web portal. The London laboratory footprint will incorporate all GP practices and Community Sexual Health Services providers in the 32 CCGs in London. In addition, the London Laboratory footprint will include the following practices from Essex currently linked with laboratories in London: — F81023: Beechwood Surgery, — F81038: Tile House Surgery, — F81055: Mount Avenue Surgery, — F81085: Dr A Naeem and Partners, — F81102: Rockleigh Court Surgery, — F81136: The Loughton Surgery, — F81165: Palmerston Road Surgery, — F81169: Kings Medical Centre, — F81172: Traps Hill Surgery, — F81215: Deal Tree Health Centre, — F81216: The River Surgery, — F81737: The Highwood Surgery. In addition, the London Laboratory footprint will include the following Defence Medical Services practices in London: — Northolt Medical Centre, — Hounslow Medical Centre, — Wellington Medical Centre, — Hyde Park Medical Centre, — Woolwich Medical Centre, — Baird Medical Centre. The North East laboratory footprint includes all of the activity from cervical screening providers in all CCGs within Yorkshire and the Humber, and the North East. This footprint will also include all acute hospital and sexual health providers that fall within the geographical area and relevant armed forces sites. The North West laboratory footprint includes all of the activity from cervical screening providers in all CCGs within North and South Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire and Mersey, and Greater Manchester. This footprint will also include all acute hospital and sexual health providers that fall within the geographical area and relevant armed forces sites. The South Central laboratory footprint will incorporate all practices and providers in: — Dorset CCG including those in west Dorset currently linked to the Taunton/Musgrove Park laboratory, — Hampshire (except North East Hampshire and a single South East Hampshire practice), Southampton, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight — Oxfordshire (except for 5 South Oxfordshire practices), — South Wiltshire practices/providers currently linked to the Poole laboratory, — Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (with the exception of 5 Oxfordshire and 5 Buckinghamshire practices currently linked to the Berkshire and Surrey Pathology service, — the single West Berkshire practice currently linked to the Hampshire Hospitals laboratory (J82054 – Kintbury and Woolton Hill Surgery). This footprint will also include all acute hospital and sexual health providers that fall within the geographical area and relevant armed forces sites. The South East laboratory footprint will incorporate all practices and providers in Kent, Surrey and Sussex and all practices in the North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG. In addition, it will include GP practices and providers from Thames Valley and Hampshire currently linked with laboratories in Surrey/Sussex: — all of East Berkshire CCG — all practices in the West Berkshire CCG except the single practice linked to the Hampshire programme — 5 Buckinghamshire practices (K82055 — Denham Medical Centre, K82006 — Iver Medical Centre, K82031— Threeways Surgery, K82033- Burnham Health Centre and K82045 — Southmead Surgery) — 5 South Oxfordshire practices (K84035 — Bell Surgery, K84020 — Sonning Common Health Centre, K84001 — Hart Surgery, K84015 — Nettlebed Surgery, K84071 — Goring and Woodcote Health Centre currently linked to the Berkshire and Surrey Pathology service. — a single South East Hampshire practice (J82005 – Rowlands Castle) currently linked to the Sussex programme. This footprint will also include all acute hospital and sexual health providers that fall within the geographical area and relevant armed forces sites. The South West laboratory footprint will incorporate all practices and providers in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Gloucestershire. The footprint also includes the Wiltshire practices currently linked to the Royal United Hospital Bath laboratory. This footprint will also include all acute hospital and sexual health providers that fall within the geographical area and relevant armed forces sites. The footprint excludes: — all practices/providers in west Dorset currently linked to the Taunton laboratory, — all practices/providers in Wiltshire currently linked to the Poole laboratory. Note: the footprint includes all practices and providers in Gloucestershire CCG currently linked to the Hereford and Worcestershire programme. The East Midlands laboratory footprint will cover all GP practices within the following CCGs: — West Leicestershire, — East Leicestershire and Rutland, — Leicester City, — Nene, — Corby, — Lincolnshire West, — Lincolnshire East, — South Lincolnshire, — South West Lincolnshire, — Southern Derbyshire, — North Derbyshire, — Hardwick, — Erewash, — Mansfield and Ashfield, — Newark and Sherwood, — Nottingham City, — Nottingham North and East, — Nottingham West, — Rushcliffe, — East Staffordshire. In addition, this laboratory footprint will include all acute hospital and sexual health providers that fall within the geographical area and relevant armed forces sites. The East laboratory footprint will cover all GP practices within the following CCGs: — Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, — North Norfolk, — South Norfolk, — West Norfolk, — Great Yarmouth and Waveney, — Norwich, — Ipswich and East Suffolk, — West Suffolk, — Castle Point and Rochford, — Southend, — Basildon and Brentwood, — Thurrock, — Mid Essex, — West Essex, — North East Essex, — East and North Hertfordshire, — Hertfordshire Valley, — Bedfordshire, — Luton, — Milton Keynes. In addition, the West Midlands laboratory footprint will include all NHS colposcopy/gynae clinics (11 acute hospital providers for West Midlands and 2 for North Midlands — all border areas taken into account under WM numbers with the exception of Welsh border), Armed Forces sites, sexual health providers (9 providers) and 2 community outreach services that fall within the geographical area.
