Tender description

Cornwall Council (CC) is seeking to gain a better understanding of the technical solutions that can support their Education and Early Years Directorate, leading to reassurance that the best possible solution is in place. The Council would like to discover what potential suppliers can deliver to either develop the Council's current solution or enable migration to an alternative solution. It is our view that a wider understanding of the market, considering new technologies and features may highlight alternative solutions that have the capacity to deliver extended benefits to CC. It is intended that the functional capabilities and indicative prices supplied will enable us to develop a business proposal. Any such proposal would be subject to the development and approval of a business case, and, as such, this exercise implies no commercial commitment. This is not a formal tender document. The Council uses a web-based system on the South West Portal found at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk (DueNorth) to manage quote and tender processes. New users to the system must register on this site to obtain a username and password before gaining access to the system. All interaction with the Council in respect of this requirement will be conducted through the DueNorth system.
