Registered, residential short breaks or respite care is a service that provides short term support for eligible adults, while their unpaid carers receive a break from their caring role. Short breaks are generally planned but may also be required at times of emergency. Further information can be found within the ITT documents advertised via our e-Tendering portal, The Chest: www.the-chest.org.uk We are looking to procure a short breaks service for individuals with a learning disability, largely residing in the Allerdale and Copeland Districts. The service will consist of four beds and be for 3 years with option to extend by 12 months.
