What is the IR35 status? - we are a housing association who wish to procure the services of a SharePoint developer via a company who is charging by the day rate. Answer: We are a housing association who wish to procure the services of a SharePoint developer via a company who is charging by the day rate. We are not taking on any liabilities for Tax or National Insurance for any person who is supplied by a company for this piece of work. 2. 2. Is there a current incumbent? Answer: No, this is a new piece of fixed time work for up to 30 days to carry out the work as described. We currently have SharePoint 2007 on-premise. We are looking to move to an online SharePoint instance utilising AD synchronising services. 3. Q) How can we submit a response directly as the portal will not let me? A) To ensure a fair ability for responses - anyone who cannot upload via this portal can email directly to steve.craison@accentgroup.org where it will be considered once the opportunity has closed. 4. Q) You selected content designer as the specialist but from the description it would look like you need a developer or consultant - if we haven't registered to provide content designers, but we can provide developers or consultants, how do we do that? A) We are unable to amend the specialist on the form as there isn't the facility to do that, but yes, we are looking for skills to setup, develop and create a SharePoint online instance migrating from our old site. If you offer that type of skill but are unable to submit via the content designer route then in the interests of fairness please see the other question and answer and submit via email. Please use the same format - day rate, approx start date and then 100 word overview. Thank you. 5. Q) What volume of data do you wish to migrate between SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint Online? A) The total size of the SQL server which holds all of the data for our current instance is circa 350GB. This includes the SharePoint config files. To provide further detail, we currently have 12GB of files (36,000) across 9,000 Folders when looking from a windows explorere perspective. We will not be migrating all of this information across. 6. Q) What type of content will require migrating? (i.e. just documents) or documents and lists/calendars etc. A) the type of content we currently hold is mainly documents, we haven't utilised many calendars or lists. We will be working with the business to understand what content needs to be migrated. 7. Q) What level of usage of 'Metadata' has previously been used to categorise content in SharePoint 2007 and will this metadata need migrating? A) To my knowledge, we have not used any metadata style classification previously throughout the business, the only exception is our corporate document template/guidance library - that has a single group of classification on it so that we can display the documents grouped by letter - very simple high level though. We intend to utilise the list and other document library/search functions that are available on SharePoint online to ensure we capture that. 8. Q) Please can you define 'existing business templates' and what you mean by integrating these with SharePoint? Are you referring to previously developed web forms, MS Word based document templates or business processes implemented in SharePoint workflows? A) We do not have any workflows set up in our existing SharePoint instanceWe have a number of existing templates but given that the look, feel and design of SharePoint Online is quite a bit different to our instance of SharePoint, we are wanting the prospective person/team to present ideas or how we can best utilise the processes function. 9. Q) What level of security clearance is required? A) - we do not require any level of security clearance or DBS check
