Tender description

Inspection and verification of potential defects to manhole covers within the Southern Ware Network, with an inspection report. Within this area Southern Water is responsible for the condition of in excess of two million manhole covers and frames which may become defective due to wear and tear, heavy trafficking, lack of highway maintenance, metal theft, third party damage and inappropriate installation/usage. Southern Water is responsible for the inspection and repair / replacement of these manholes covers and frames when a report of a potential defect is received, the Deliverables being the inspection and verification of such potential defects, with the inspection report.
