Tender description

A service that will provide Inpatient detoxification and stabilisation for patients suffering from drug and alcohol dependency. This type of service is recommended by the relevant nice guidelines as part of a pathway of care, and is appropriate when people have complex patterns of drug use (e.g. multiple dependencies) or health problems which would make detoxification in a community setting either unsafe or unlikely to be successful. To deliver an inpatient detoxification and stabilisation service to residents of the East Riding who will be referred by other East Riding commissioned drug and alcohol misuse services. Initial term is for three (3) years, with an option to extend for up to a further two (2) years.
