Tender description

NIE Networks is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to provide a comprehensive laundry service for its specialised personal protective equipment garments. This service must include timely collection and return of garments, the high quality laundering of the garments, ensuring they continue to offer the correct level of protection for the wearer while promoting a professional and strong corporate identity of NIE Networks. The estimated value range, excluding VAT, for this tender and for the duration of the Framework Agreement is as follows: Per annum value range: 150 000 GBP — 250 000 GBP, 2 year value range: 300 000 GBP — 500 000 GBP, 7 year value range: 1 050 000 GBP — 1 750 000 GBP. NIE Networks is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced organisation onto a framework for the provision of Laundry Service for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Garments. The framework covers the laundering of PPE garments in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines, delivery and collection service of PPE Garments to and from the respective NIE Networks Site locations. The resulting framework will be for both delivery and service provision. NIE Networks aims to establish a Framework Agreement (as a result of this tender competition) with a suitably qualified and experienced supplier. The contract will be for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend (entirely at the sole discretion of NIE Networks) for a further period of up to 3 years and an additional period of up to a further 2 years. (7 years in total).
