Tender description

City of York Council are going out to tender for an integrated sexual health service that provides residents with open access to confidential, non-judgemental services including STI and BBV testing, treatment and management; the full range of contraceptive provision; health promotion and prevention. This service specification provides a framework for the commissioning and delivery of community integrated specialist sexual health services and is designed to outline the services required but does not intend to specify a prescriptive delivery model. The vision is for an outcome focused approach to service delivery. City of York Council believes in a culture of asset based working responsive to evidenced population need, it is expected that the Provider will deliver a model with this in mind. The budget for this Procurement is 1 400 000 GBP per annum. City of York Council will have an initial 3 year contract with the option to extend for a further 24+24 (months).
