Tender description

The aims of the current service are to: — provide respite care for adults with learning disabilities whose requirements include support of complex needs, — enable family carers to receive better support; and provide emergency placements for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The estimated annual value is 330 000 GBP (including care and accommodation). Provide respite care for adults with learning disabilities whose requirements include support of complex needs; enable family carers to receive better support and provide emergency placements for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This will require a property with up to 5 en-suite bedrooms. There will also be a requirement for the property to have suitable accessibility and adaptations to meet the needs of those individuals who will be accessing the service. The service will be for up to five individuals at the one time and for 365 nights per annum exclusively for individuals who have been assessed as suitable to receive the service.
