Tender description

Please note that this is not a call for competition and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. In advance of commencing the procurement process, Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) wishes to hold Technical Dialogues on the basis of informal discussions with market players to provide HRI with a greater understanding of the options available to us for finance systems. Please revert to the attached document for a description of the requirements. Please note that this is not a call for competition and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. In advance of commencing the procurement process, Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) wishes to hold Technical Dialogues on the basis of informal discussions with market players to provide HRI with a greater understanding of the options available to us for finance systems. No information arising from the Technical Dialogue procedure will be utilised in a manner likely to prejudice the outcome of any future competitive process. Any specification of requirements formulated by HRI will be entirely objective; no suppliers will be favoured or disadvantaged as a result of information arising from the Technical Dialogue procedure. Moreover, participation in the Technical Dialogue discussion will not afford any particular supplier an advantage in the context of any competition. HRI offers no guarantee that a competitive process will be held in relation to this requirement. Any competitive process will be advertised via the Irish government’s procurement portal www.etenders.gov.ie Participants in the Technical Dialogue will not be independently informed of the commencement of any competition. Short Description: We wish to review options available in the market for the replacement of our current Finance System. System requirement: — A secure, fit for purpose, modern system capable of delivering the functionality required; — The solution must be future proofed, supported externally, maintained/updated regularly as required, and reliable, delivering maximum efficiencies for HRI; — The system should be an off the shelf system capable of being tailored to the specific requirements of HRI.
