Tender description

Glasgow Kelvin College issues this Invitation to Tender for the supply, installation and maintenance of a Building Environment Management System (BEMS). The system will replace current building management systems and modernise associated controls and sensors across three of its campus buildings, Easterhouse, Springburn and East End based in the Glasgow area. Glasgow Kelvin College (GKC) requires a Contractor to provide an innovative, environmentally conscious, and open-protocol Building Environment Management System (BEMS) to amalgamate, test, upgrade, repair, expand and replace as necessary current BEMS systems at its Springburn, Easterhouse and East End campuses in accordance with the system requirements detailed in the tender document. All work shall be compliant with the requirements for maintenance and repair of the: — Building Environment Management System and The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 — The Building Regulations 1997 – 2007, — Building Control Act 2007, — European Communities (Energy Performance of Buildings) Regulations SI 666 of 2006 — all other applicable Regulations associated with the works being undertaken.
