Tender description

This is a Learning and Development Framework consisting of the following lots: Lot 1: People and Management Development; Lot 2: Elected Member Development; Lot 3: Health and Well Being; Lot 4: Working with Adults and Children; Lot 5: Technical and Working Safely with Machinery. Training Themes to include a rang of soft skills programmes. Training themes may include (but not restricted to): — foundation skills, — policy and public service reform, — connecting with others. Training Themes may include (but not restricted to): — mental health first aid, — genetic mental health awareness, — mental health resilience, — disability awareness, — flu vaccination, — drug and alcohol awareness, — menopause awareness, — genetic women's health, — genetic men's health, — keeping healthy as you get older. Training themes may include (but not restricted to): — safeguarding (adults and children), — moving and handling, — trusted assessor training, — food hygiene, — safe handling and administering medication, — trachy suction and asthma inhaler, — induction programmes for new support workers, — induction programmes for passenger assistants, — disability awareness, — court skill, — report writing, — epilepsy awareness, — autism awareness, — dementia awareness, — de-escalation training, — person centred planning, — deprivation of liberty safeguarding, — recording with care, — awareness of domestic abuse, — awareness of domestic violence, — substance misuse, — modern slavery. This may include (but not restricted to): — manual handling and lifting, — safe use of trailers, — wells disease, — sharps Training, — Chapter 8, — using a chainsaw, — NEBOSH, — small tools training, — hand arm vibration, — various arborist training, — CPC professional qualification, — safe use of weapons, — park inspections, — water safety, — mowing machines/digging machines.
