Design Review Panel - London Borough of Sutton - One Year Trial

The London Borough of Sutton is committed to achieving high quality and design excellence for new developments within the borough. These developments should balance the borough’s ambitions for sustainable growth with a recognition of Sutton’s unique suburban character. To help achieve the ambition for high quality and well-designed development, the London Borough of Sutton’s Housing, Economy and Business Committee has resolved that the borough establish a design review panel for a one-year trial, to be procured via an external provider. The design review panel will review and offer impartial design and place making advice on new developments early in the planning process and preferably before the submission of a planning application.
