Tender description

An Lochran is a multi-occupied site within the Inverness Campus, under shared ownership between Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). The site is the main office for HIE as well as an important base for UHI's academic and research activities. Scottish Rural College (SRUC) is also a tenant within the building. This contract will be managed by HIE on behalf of other occupiers UHI and SRUC. The current facilities management requirements for An Lochran are divided into 3 lots: — Lot 1: Cleaning Services, — Lot 2: Reception and Security Services, — Lot 3: Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance. This particular contract relates to Lot 1. Bidders who are interested in bidding for any of the other contracts can do so by locating the respective PCS/OJEU notices, which were all published on the same date with ‘An Lochran FM’ in the contract description. HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide the following requirements, whilst offering best value in the expenditure of public funds: — cleaning and housekeeping, — day and reactive cleaning, — external cleaning, — window cleaning, — legionella control, — health and safety and sustainability, — contract management. It is expected that these services will be required from 1.4.2019 for an initial period of 3 years, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term. The initial 3-year budget currently available to deliver this service is between 170 000 GBP and 225 000 GBP (excluding VAT). Note: Bidders can submit a response for each of the lots.
