Summary of the work Following procuring a Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication system we require a team to support the planning, implementation, post support phases. This will include management of project, mitigating project delivery risk across identified services managing outputs through an outcome and deliverable-based model ensuring continuity of service is maintained throughout all sites. Expected Contract Length 6 - 7 Months Latest start date Monday 29 October 2018 Budget Range £70000 (not to exceed £1000 per day plus Travel & Subsistence where appropriate) Why the Work is Being Done Mersey Care have recently procured a telephony system and requires an experienced team to assist with the implementation of a DECT system throughout multiple sites across the Merseyside area. Devices to be deployed to c1600 users. Problem to Be Solved Deployment of mobile devices to multiple users throughout the Trust followed by retrieval and storage of redundant hardware. Who Are the Users Multi disciplinary clinical and non-clinical staff based around the Merseyside area who are often not familiar with technology being provided and will require support and guidance when issued. Can you confirm the manufacturer(s) of the DECT telephony equipment procured please. This would ensure that suppliers have the relevant experience. The system is from Ascom 2. Question 1We are keen to understand what aspects of "proven experience of rolling out project-based solutions across a Mental Health Trust" is of such importance (40% weighting) for this delivery requirement?Question 2It is not completely clear from the wording in the opportunity, whether this is for a project management only role, or for project management and the full-roll out, including any techincal configuration of the DECT handset equipment.Question 3 How many end users will be served by the DECT solution?Question 4How many endpoint devices are to be deployed? Answer 1Experience of working for a Mental Health Trust is a desirable pre-requisite due to the specialist nature of the clinical environment. The implications of work impact on Patient care and Security of Staff and Patients is uppermost in consideration project activities. If someone has worked in this kind of environment before it would be a definite advantage.Answer 2This is for Project management only. The Trust has an IT Provider which will be dealing with configuration etc.Answer 3Approximately 200 users. Answer 4 Initially around 100 devices. 3. Question 5Are you able to provide a breakdown of users per site.Question 6How many buildings, with addresses?Question 7Can you provide details of the user personas (e.g. Nursing Assistants, Staff Nurses, Ward Sisters, Consultancy, Unit heads, Head of PCT/Exec, etc.)Question 8What SLA's & KPI's are defined that need to be adhered to?Question 9Is the DECT solution standalone or is it integrated with a base PBX? If it is, which make/model.
