Temporary Litter Enforcement Contract - TWBC

Tender description

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is looking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified organisation to provide a specialist enforcement service on an initial 6 month contract. The Council reserves the right to issue an extension of up to a maximum of 12 months thereafter, dependent on the performance of the contractor and the Council’s future enforcement strategy. The extension period will be a rolling monthly extension, with 4 weeks notice of termination to be given at any stage, but a final termination date no more than one calendar year after the expiry of the initial 6 month term. The contract seeks to provide a high profile, self-funding enforcement initiative primarily tackling litter enforcement and dog control. The authority’s primary focus is for an initiative that will change behaviour towards environmental crimes.
