Tender description

The scope of this opportunity was to replace the legacy leakage tool. During the tender the service providers proposed how their solution can meet the needs of Southern Water, and provide licences, support and maintenance and assistance to a system Integrator for the provision of the leakage management and reporting tool. The successful service provider was to be accountable for the configuration of the LMART, including software licencing and support and maintenance. LMART will enable Southern Water to easily and promptly compile all necessary reports which Southern Water is required to produce pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, with respect to: — leakage, — DG2, — DI (distribution input) and — abstraction. The contract term for LMART (licences and support and maintenance) will run for an initial term of 5 years, with the option to extend for a period, or periods, up to 5 years (10 years total). The procurement of LMART includes the provision of software and support of a new solution, where the successful service provider will be responsible for any minor configuration to their solution in order to meet the functional requirements outlined within the tender documents. The solution provider will be required to work with a Southern Water System Integrator, to implement LMART into the Southern Water environment. The service provider will offer the system Integrator expertise on their proposed LMART, and ensure that any associated end-to-end testing is completed in a timely manner.
