Powys County Council are tendering for a single contract to provide independent advocacy service for adults in Powys. This will be served by a single gateway/triage service to the Provider who will provide statutory advocacy under the SSWB (Wales) Act. This will be served by a single gateway/triage service to the Provider who will provide statutory advocacy under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act. The service will include aspects of a wider advocacy service so that citizens seeking information or independent access to advocacy support receive relevant information or sign-posting according to the individual’s needs. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2, at the Council's discretion.
