Tender description

Newport City Council wishes to contract with a single provider or providers as a consortium to provide a housing related support service for women or people who identify as women who are experiencing or at risk from domestic abuse within the geographical boundaries of the city. Newport City Council's Supporting People programme currently funds three domestic abuse floating support services with three contractors respectively that are due to expire on 30.6.2019. The Council has decided to remodel the housing related support services into one contract for women and those who identify as women who are experiencing or at risk of domestic abuse. The Council are inviting bids from a single provider or providers as a consortium who are experienced in delivering this service and can meet the ever changing demographic of the City. Please note that the Council’s Supporting People team are collaborating with Cardiff City Council to design a housing related support domestic abuse service for men.
