Tender description

This service is to provide interpreter or communication support for all citizens with a hearing impairment within the City and County. This includes those who are profoundly Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing. The role of the sign language and interpretation service (SLIS) is to facilitate the effective communication of Deaf citizens with health professionals and council services and for staff from these services to communicate with Nottingham City's and Nottinghamshire County's Deaf community.
