Tender description

Cheshire East Council wishes to commission a range of beds in a variety of locations suitable to meet the needs of service users accessing a period of respite support. The service commissioned must meet the needs of adults across the borough in a range of environments able to specifically accommodate the needs of service users with varying support needs. The contract(s) will be for an initial 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months. The service will be commissioned on a block booked basis and will go live on 1.12.2018, with bookings being taken ahead of this. Additionally, Cheshire East Council in conjunction with NHS Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wishes to commission a number of nursing intermediate care beds to support anticipated winter pressures. The contract for this lot will be for A 7 month period and will be required to go live on 1.10.2018. Requirement is for 1 residential bed for Older People,, located within easy access of — Congleton, — Macclesfield, — Sandbach, — Holmes Chapel, — Middlewich and surrounding areas. Agreement to run for potentially 5 years in total, comprising an initial 3 year period from 1.12.2018 — 30.11.2021, with 2 optional extension periods both of 12 months (i.e. until 30.11.2023) to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Council. Agreement to run for Potentially 5 years in total, comprising an initial 3 year period from 1.12.2018 - 30.11.2021, with 2 optional extension periods both of 12 months (i.e. until 30th November 2023 in total) to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Council. Agreement to run for potentially 7 Months in total, from 1.10.2018 - 30.4.2019, with 2 optional extension periods both Of 12 months. Providers will be required to indicate the number of beds they can provide (a Minimum of 4 beds per provider is required) for this lot only.
