Camden Council is committed to empowering users of mental health services to have their voices heard, and to meaningfully involve them in the design, procurement, monitoring and review of services. The Council are looking for an organisation that can work democratically with service users and closely with mental health commissioners to deliver this ambition for a strong, local, independent and constructive user involvement service. The organisation will need to work with a range of local stakeholders to increase the range of people engaged and represent the diversity of Camden's population. The aim of this service will be to support, empower and develop the capacity of a diverse range of adults in Camden with experience of mental health services to work alongside health and social care commissioners, providers and other key stakeholders in every stage of the commissioning cycle to maximise their own recovery outcomes and improve local services. The annual contract value (which must not be exceeded) is £53,500 the service will start on 1st February 2019 for an initial period of 2 years with the option of an extension of one year at the sole discretion of the council. Please note the highest value quote above (160,500) includes the extension. The initial term of the contract is for 2 years and the maximum value is £107,000
