Tender description
Contractor to carry out repairs to the Kish Bank Lighthouse, Located approx 13 Km off the coast of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The Light house is constructed in two cylindrical reinforced concrete caissons. The Lighthouse now requires some repair and refurbishment works notably, replacement of the helipad safety netting and access, replacement of hand railing, access hatches and door seals, demolition of defunct crane rail, as well as a grout repair on the lowest internal level. The entire outer face of the lighthouse is to be stripped (grit blast or power wash) treated and painted. Access platforms at height are also required.
