Tender description
Suffolk County Council, Adult Care Services and Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning group, West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, Great and Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning group are giving prior notice to future Procurements for Locality Home Care and Support Services. Procurement for this service is due to start in Nov/Dec 2018. Locality Home Care and Support Services 36 000 000.00 GBP p/a Suffolk County Council, Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning group, West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, Great and Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning group intends to undertake a Procurement for the delivery of Locality Home Care and Support Services. This service is for adults over the age of 18 years, resident in Suffolk and meet the eligibility for social care as defined by the Care Act 2014 and have an assessed need for ongoing care and support and is for adults over the age of 18 years, registered with a GP Practice in the Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning group, West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, Great and Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning group. and assessed as eligible for receiving continuing health care. Procurement for this service is due to start November / December 2018. As a minimum requirement to bid for the Framework providers will be expected to have at least an approved pre-accreditation. Suffolk County Council, Adult Care Services and Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning group, West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, Great and Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning group are inviting providers of Home Care and Support for people aged over 18 who are interested in being on our new Framework contract to put themselves forward for accreditation. Providers who have already been accredited with Suffolk County Council after 1.10.2017, have completed a Health Check and/or have an approved pre-accreditation are not required to reapply. Pre-Accreditation will take place from 2.11.2018 to 20.1.2019. All providers must have an approved pre-accreditation by 22.1.2019 to enable providers to submit bids through a tender process that will be evaluated under set criteria to provide Locality Home Care and Support. Suffolk County Council will process all pre-accreditations by 28.4.2019. Providers who do not pass the accreditation process will not be able to join the Framework even where a submission has been made, evaluated and subsequently scored equal to or higher than the pass criteria.
