DUD-Provision of Waste Disposal & Tipping Service Lot 1 & Skip Hire Service Lot 2

Tender description

The successful Contractor(s) are to provide Housing Maintenance Team (HMT) with tipping facilities to supportthe day-to-day operation of the Authority and provide a reliable Service to the community by receiving wastedelivered by Dudley MBC to the Contractor(s) as detailed below. The service will provide the receipt, storage (at a SUITABLY Licenced Waste transfer station/ tipping facility),and the transfer off site to either landfill or recycling treatment of builders type waste, builders rubble, gardenwaste, mattresses & old furniture, hazardous waste (tyres, fridges, gas bottles, paint and chemicals etc.) whichis deposited by Dudley MBC vehicles as detailed in the Tender Special Conditions in accordance with the latestBritish Standards and EU Regulations or equivalent and HSE guidance. Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting tenders from companies wishing to provide Commercial Wastedisposal and re-cycling service. The disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment, white goods, and confidential waste will not form part of this contract. It is envisaged the contract will commence on 01 January2019 for a period of 3 years with an option to extend the Contract Period by any number of periods up to an aggregate of twenty four (24) calendar months.
