CPU 3285 Public Engagement on the Structure of Local Government

Tender description

Nottingham City Council is seeking tenders for a specialist consultancy service that would provide an evidence base to understand what the city geography should be if Nottinghamshire County Council makes a case for reorganisation. The consultation should be undertaken by an organisation that has specialist knowledge of carrying out previous research on unitary reorganisation and who understand the challenges involved in this. The fieldwork needs to be completed by 21 December 2018 with reporting in January 2019. This will allow the Council to consider the findings and make a decision as to whether there is enough evidence to support further consultation to work up proposals in response to Nottinghamshire County Council.
