Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mental Health Recovery and Community Inclusion Service

Tender description

Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC), Peterborough City Council (PCC) and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (C&P CCG) are commissioning the Mental Health Recovery and Community Inclusion Service for Adults with mental health needs that would benefit from a range of interventions in a community setting. The service will enable people to develop the skills and resources needed to gain independence, build resilience and enhance coping skills. With the development of the enhanced mental health service in Primary Care as well as feedback from Providers, Service Users and Carers about improvements to current services, Commissioners would like to commission a service for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough which will wrap around the current clinical primary and secondary mental health services to provide an equitable, community-based, recovery-focused service to support people to make connections within their community, improve their mental wellbeing and develop the skills to self-manage and gain independence. Cambridgeshire County Council is the lead commissioner for the service. Funding for the service will be through alignment of current investment from Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG. The contract is for an initial period of three (3) years, with two (2) optional extensions of two (2) years each, making seven (7) years in total (3+2+2). Keywords: Mental Health, Community setting
