Bridge construction work

Tender description

The work consist of the following: A. Development of the RIBA 3 design to completion, including designing to optimise constructability; B. Construction of a Pontoon Bridge with the following requirement: — installation of Approach Ramp at either ends of the pontoon bridge, — the pontoon is to be sufficiently wide to accommodate two lanes of traffic and maintenance access on foot, — have a pedestrian lane, — have the capacity to support a 44 tonne fuel tanker, — installation of lighting along the pontoon bridge. C. Construction of a new Fire Rescue Boat Pontoon to berth a fire rescue boat with ramp access from the airfield dock to water level. The works consists of the following: — completion of the employer design and fabrication and installation of the Pontoon Bridge, — installation of Access Ramp at either ends of the Bridge, — design, fabrication and installation of a New Fire Rescue Boat Pontoon, — installation of Ramp Access from the Airside Dock to the water level.
