Voice and Conversational User Interfaces

Tender description

This Request for Information (RFI) is to enable the BBC to gain a better understanding of the tools and services that are available around Voice and Conversational User Interfaces. The BBC has produced and experimented with various voice-based skills, social media chatbots and in-article conversation agents to explore new ways of audience and reader engagement. We’re now looking to explore ways of consolidating and standardising the workflows and tools for these different forms of conversational experience, considering design, development, publishing, testing and monitoring. We encourage responses from innovative/leading-edge suppliers, both start-ups and established organisations. For the avoidance of doubt, any information provided to the BBC in response to this RFI will be treated as confidential and non-binding. No contract will be awarded as a consequence of this RFI process.
