Supplier engagement event for prospective employment businesses (temporary staffing agencies) to supply temporary agency workers for assignments at Hampshire County Council Hampshire County Council would like to invite prospective suppliers of temporary and contract agency staff to a supplier engagement event in Winchester, on the 12.11.2018 The purpose of this day(s) is to engage with a potential supply chain of recruitment businesses who will support the joint venture and introduce you to the concept and Hampshire's requirements for the future. There will be a series of presentations providing information about the joint venture and the mechanism by which we would be looking to work with a supply chain. Full details of location will be provided on registration. There will be an opportunity for 1:1 conversations after the presentation. Please note that spaces are limited to two attendees per organisation. The Background A new and innovative joint venture, has been announced by the County Council to manage supply of temporary and contract agency staffing into the Council and recruit temporary agency staff into the wide range of roles across the Authority to meet the growing demand for services, particularly in social care. Joining forces with Commercial Services Kent Ltd (CSKL), a trading company owned by Kent County Council, the new agency will enable Hampshire to better manage and control the sourcing and retention of skilled, high quality, temporary agency staff. Work to progress the project has now begun, with the agency expected to open for business in April 2019.
