Tender description

The system consists of 4 main parts: 1) an angle-resolving electron analyser for high-resolution electron spectroscopy, 2) an integrated spin-analysis system for subsequent spin-polarisation analysis and 3) a fully-functioning and adaptable software suite for performing measurements using the system. The school of physics and astronomy is seeking to enhance its research and teaching activity through the acquisition of a spin and angle resolved photoemission spectrometer. The system consists of 4 main parts: 1) an angle-resolving electron analyser for high-resolution electron spectroscopy, 2) an integrated spin-analysis system for subsequent spin-polarisation analysis and 3) a fully-functioning and adaptable software suite for performing measurements using the system. The systems should provide a fully-functioning capability for high-resolution spin-resolved ARPES when combined with a suitable vacuum chamber, pumping and sample manipulation (not part of this tender), and should fulfill the requirements detailed.
