Tender description

The Hampshire Carers Support and Dementia Advisors Service will provide information, advice and support activities to carers and individuals living with dementia. The service will be procured through 4 single contract lots: — lot 1: (North and North-East Hampshire) will provide carer support and dementia advisors services to people living in the districts of: —— Basingstoke and Dene and —— Hart and —— Rushmoor. — lot 2: (West Hampshire) will provide carer support and dementia advisors services to people living in the districts of: —— Winchester, —— the New Forest, —— Eastleigh and —— Test Valley. — lot 3: (East Hampshire) will provide carer support and dementia advisors services to people living in the districts of: —— Fareham, —— Gosport, —— Havant and —— East Hampshire. — lot 4: will be a carers emergency planning service, provided across the geographical area of the jurisdiction of Hampshire County Council, supporting carers to produce emergency plans for activation when they are unexpectedly unable to undertake their caring role. The Council will be running a one stage open procurement process. The initial contract term for lot 1 is 3 years, with the option to extend the contract, at the Council’s discretion, for a further period or periods not exceeding 2 years.
