Tender description

The Framework is for the maintenance of including serving & testing of various, automatic doors, roller shutters, car park barriers, powered sliding gates, hatches, revolving doors & pedestrian access gates. A Fully Comprehensive Service and Maintenance Framework Controlled Access Equipment including all emergency call outs of: Automatic Doors (including swing and sliding, cantilever doors and folding doors) Roller Shutters (including electric shutters, fire shutters, industrial shutters, servery doors, sectional bay doors, speed/rapid doors, steel window shutters) Car Park Barriers (including Automatic Barrier, Automatic Gates, Manual barriers Other (including hydraulic hatches, motorized fire curtains, pedestrian gates, revolving doors) The object is to ensure maximum safety and to maintain the client's plant in a good working order with the minimum of breakdowns in addition to fulfil the client's liability under the current legislation assigned in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and all other relevant statutory requirements Current Properties include: Staffordshire County Council Corporate Properties Staffordshire County Council School Residential Care Homes, Fire and Rescue. Properties Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation trust (previously SSOTP) Properties Academies within Staffordshire Academies from Neighbouring Counties Potential Properties in the future could include: Police Authority Properties Local Authority Properties within the following Counties: Derbyshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham and West Midlands Refer to the procurement documentation for the full specification.
