Professional Services for a Complete Design Service

Halton Borough Council wishes to commission Consultants to undertake the following: • A full design service on both capital and planned repairs and maintenance projects across the Council’s portfolio of properties utilising the skills of Architects, Building Surveyors, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and other professionals to allow a scheme to be fully designed. • Specialist electrical and mechanical schemes. • Ad-hoc pieces of advice and assistance The Service shall be a fully integrated and comprehensive service from the date a scheme is ordered until it is handed over to the Council in a contractually complete state and any arising defects and other issues on a scheme are successfully dealt with. The successful Consultants will assist the Council in carrying out design work, running schemes on site and carrying out various other Property Services functions. Work is currently undertaken by a combination of in-house staff and specifically appointed consultants as required for the project in hand.
