Tender description

Public Health England, an executive agency of the Department of Health and Social and Social Care (DH) (hereafter referred to as "Public Health England" or "PHE" also referred to as the "Contracting Authority" or the "Authority" or the "Employer") awarded the contract for 36 months to University College London. Contract is to purchase a system to support the evaluation of screeners for the early detection and treatment for infections such as HIV, hepatitis B and syphilis in pregnancy in order to significantly reduce the risk of vertical transmission of infection from the mother to the child. . The Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy Screening (IDPS) programme, part of Public Health England, and has responsibility for implementing this policy in the NHS.
