Suffolk County Council are currently out to tender for the provision of 0-19 healthy child programme This opportunity is available in the “Current Tenders” area of portal. Interested parties are invited to express their interest to gain full access to the tender documentation. The deadline date for submissions of the tender is Tuesday 19.6.2018 at 12:00 noon. Please note late returns will not be permitted The deadline for clarification questions is Friday 1.6.2018 at 5:00 pm which must be generated via the correspondence option on the website. Suffolk County Council is seeking a provider for the Suffolk Healthy Child Services from April 2019. These services will ensure delivery of the healthy child programme for all children aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years for SEND) across Suffolk. The service will respond to the needs of children, families and young people at an early stage and will ensure that the most vulnerable children and families are supported effectively. There will be a focus on reducing harm, protecting and improving health, and ensuring children are effectively safeguarded. The provider will adopt the principles of close collaborative and integrated working across wider children and young people’s services and form part of the integrated early help offer to children and families in Suffolk. The budget of 9 800 000 GBP per annum is based on current financial projections but may be subject to change in accordance with national and local priorities. Suffolk County Council is aware that we may receive an in-house offer for these services. Any in-house offer will be required to include a fair and reasonable estimate of costs in relation to those areas where services may be provided “free” or at minimal cost by Suffolk County Council to the in-house provider. If the evaluation of bids results in a higher score for an in-house bid than all other bids, then SCC shall provide the service in-house.
