Eel Brook Common: Play area improvements

Tender description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is tendering a contract to install new play equipment and safety surfacing at Eel Brook Common, Fulham. We wish to install new safety surface throughout the play area, move and repair existing play equipment, and install new play items. Surfacing must be bound and capable of withstanding heavy wear. Equipment may be composed of a variety of materials, including timber, metal and synthetic or composite materials, however elements below ground level must be metal to ensure the longevity of the equipment. We require a proposal for the design and installation of equipment and safety surface which will be suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, and must include an area suitable for very young children. Proposals must be robust and easily maintained. Equipment must meet BS EN 1176, impact attenuating surface must meet BS EN 1177.
