Tender description

We are looking for tenderers with a proven track record of working with school-based learners aged 11-19 who can offer a range of outcomes and accreditations in Pembrokeshire that will assist the school learners in their future personal and social development, reduce their vulnerability and who can demonstrate progression and improvement in their attendance, behaviour and attainment. See attached table identifying the evidence needed to demonstrate progression Appendix 1. They must be able to offer a wide range of interventions aimed at reducing a young person’s risk of becoming NEET. Offering volunteering opportunities to participants. Offering enhanced volunteering support to ensure that volunteering opportunities provide a high quality, positive outcome to the Operation’s aims. Suppliers who wish to tender for this lot may wish to draw on the specialist knowledge within the relevant County Voluntary Council. We would welcome participants gaining accreditations through the project. Offering Sport opportunities to participants. Activities must be additional to those offered as part of “core” sports/physical educational provision delivered within schools. We would encourage delivery in informal and non-formal settings, although school-based activities may be permissible if facilities are available at the school (e.g. the use of a gym). Details of which activities would be permissible as part of the project can be obtained from the Council’s Cynnydd Team. We would welcome participants gaining accreditations through the project.
